the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful but room was dingy and needed cleaning.

The river view provided a serene atmosphere during my stay.
Unfortunately, the room I stayed in had several issues. The floors were not properly cleaned, with noticeable dirt and hair still present. Additionally, the furnishings felt quite dated, and the bathroom supplies were lacking, missing towels and a working hair dryer made for a less than comfortable experience.

The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a quick getaway. The on-site restaurant was a delightful surprise, serving fresh-caught seafood that paired perfectly with local beers and wines. Plus, the atmosphere with views of the Mersey River added to the charm, making it a lovely dining experience.
Dated furnishings.

I’m shocked that I had to find a lamp because the room’s light didn’t work, how quaint! Also, hair and stains on the bedding? Classy. And for the price of $200, I woudl ve been thrilled with a complimentary breakfast or perhaps a room upgrade, but no. So I’ll just leave this scathing review instead.

staying at lanes privateer inn was a pleasant experience. the location is right across from downtown, making it super convenient. the restaurant staff during dinner were courteous and friendly, and the food was quite tasty. also, we loved that we could easily purchase frozen meals for later in the week.
A mild critique would be the room's tv issues. it wasn't connecting to the wifi, which was a bit frustrating.

Staying at this inn with my family, including our grandkids, was a delight! The beds were comfy and clean, and we appreciated the ability to enjoy convenient day trips to the nearby national park.
My kids wished the play area was better maintained.

We had a lovely time in our Superior Queen Room. It was clean and cozy, with great air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The shower had good hot water, and the restaurant staff were so nice. Enjoyed our meals there too, especially the dinner!

We had a lovely stay in a spacious Superior Queen Room. The breakfast was excellent, with a must-try fish cake for only $12. The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown, and the beautiful views of the river added to our experience.
The bathroom supplies could have been better.

I recently stayed for one night and was really impressed with the food—dinner was delicious, and the generous servings had me feeling right at home. Our room was comfortable, though it could definitely use some updates, particularly with the dusty mirror and underwhelming bathroom supplies. Overall, I'd consider staying here again for those charming dining experiences!

The location offered stunning views of the water, with beautiful spring flowers in bloom, making the outdoor seating area a highlight for sunset watching. The room felt somewhat dated, although clean, and the bed was uncomfortably soft for my taste. Service was pleasant but there was a lack of clarity regarding breakfast options, which would have been helpful.
